You can define custom indicators by using MyFunction tool. You can open MyFunction either selecting Tools>MyFunction item from the menu or clicking on  icon from the Tool tool bar.

Your previously defined functions (indicators and ratios) are listed in MyFunction window. You can create a new indicator by using the right-click menu or clicking on  button.

EquityRT offers 250+ built-in functions. These functions are available in  Function Selection object. You can drag&drop or double-click the function you need for your new ratio.

“Ask Parameters” check-box is active as default. This means that a new parameter window will be displayed for each function you selected. You can leave the parameter info empty if you want to use the default data available in the form which you will use the new ratio in. If you don't want the program to ask parameters every time, you can remove the check and make “Ask Parameters” inactive.

You can change the parameters of functions after you add them into Numerator, Denominator or Formula sections.

Name: Try to name your functions something that will help you to remember what they do.

Description: You can add descriptions for your custom functions.

Formula: You can add the functions from the Function Selector and you can make any changes in the text box.
