Last Engulfing Top

Last Engulfing Top

 

A reversal pattern which is strongly bullish if it occurs after a significant down-trend. It occurs when a small bearish (black) line is contained within a long bullish (white) candle.

The only difference between the Last Engulfing Top and Bullish Engulfing Lines is that the Last Engulfing Top comes after an UpTrend.

 

Recognition Criteria:

·       DownTrend

·       First line is Black

·       Second line is White

·       First line’s closing and opening prices are between the second line’s closing and opening prices.

 

Function: LastEngulfTop()

Trend: Bearish

Type: Reversal
