In the application main menu, you can follow New > MyGrid steps or from the “MyGrid” icon in the toolbar of your workspace, you can create your own tables by following the given steps.
Step 1- Twelve different types of Grid are presented to easily help you to select the one you need.
The first six table type presents formats that have been created using date and data/ratio/indicator (will be named as function in the following steps) combinations. The pictures in every box are designed to help you find the table format you need. For example;
The last six tables present formats related to multidimensional comparison tables. For example, for a specific security ,if you want to see value of a ratio or financial item for different periods, you could choose table number 7.
You can go to the next step after double clicking any picture in only the first step.
Step 2- Select security or group of securities for your analysis.
If you want to analyse a particular security, youl should select “Security” box at the top of the screen, if it’s exchange, sector, indices or groups then “Group” box must be checked. If “Group” box is marked, you should be careful about selecting group functions like group data, group periodic and group ratio as category in the field selection part.
You may see a warning box which states that “More than one security can not be selected as table type” if selection of more than one security is not available for the table type you choose.

Step 3- Define the date range. (See Date Selection – Help)
You can select date by either using calendar or date functions. If you use calender to select your dates, you will get a static table where your date range will be always the same. If you select date with date functions, you get a dynamic table where date range updates itself with the given function.
Step 4- Select the functions you would like to review. (See Function Selection – Help)
By using the right-click menu on the selected functions, you can access the following properties:
Parameters: You can use this option in order to change the parameters of the selected function. These parameters are set separately for each function. The default values of the parameters of the selected function will be used if not specified otherwise.
Edit as formula: You can edit the formula of the selected function by using this option.
Properties: You can change the name of the column instead of using the function name. Alignment option enables you to decide the position of the figures in the final table.
Step 5- Define the below options.
Currency: You can analyze the data in different currencies.
Date Sort Order: You can order dates ascending or descending.

This means that if you select Volume or Low for a holiday then the resulting value will be Null/Empty. |
Normalization: : Where applicable you can select this option to normalize the values of the Graph by accepting the first value as 100.
Show row numbers: You can view the row numbers as the first column of the table.
Hide empty rows: You can hide empty rows of the table in case none of the related cells have data.
Step 6- Edit grouping options for your tables.
This option will be activated if you select multiple securities/groups. Grouping definitions can be made using the summary formulas list on the right side. You can group your functions by average, minimum, value etc.
