Three Black Crows

A less powerful reversal pattern which occurs in an UpTrend.
 
Three long black candlesticks with consecutively lower closes that close near or at their low prices. 

 

Recognition Criteria:

·       UpTrend
·       First line is Long Black
·       Second line is Long Black
·       Third line is Long Black
·       Lower shadow lengths of the lines are less than N percent of the total line range (High-Low)
·       Closing price of the second line is lower than the first line’s.
·       Closing price of the thirdline is lower than the second line’s.
