The Unchanged Issues Index (UncIssues) indicator displays the ratio of the number of securities having the same closing price as the previous closing price to the total number of securities in the selected portfolio, group or index.
The higher the number of securities included in the market downtrend, the higher the possibility for the prices to have a bottom. The Unchanged Issues Index will have a low value in this case. On the contrary, the market will have a top and the prices will not change.
Calculation:
UncIssues = UNC / Total
UNC = The number of securities having the same closing price as the previous closing price
Total = The number of securities in the selected group
Inputs:
Group = XU100
