Date Selection is a common object which can be found in most of the designer windows.

This object differs from Designer to Designer. For example; In MyGraph Designers there are Session, Day, Month and Quarter, Method(Range/List) sections, If Method is set to Range then First and Last Date sections are activated. If Method is set to List then List section is activated. In MyChart Designer there are Frequency (Session/Day/Month), |
Here are the sections available in the Date Selection object:
Session: Date and Session selection (S1/S2)
Day: Date selection
Month: List of all months since 1990/01
Quarter: List of all quarters since 1990/01. Quarter list consists of 3 types of quarters;
Frequency: Session/Day selection
Method: Range/List selection
If Method is set to Range then First and Last Date sections are activated.
If Method is set to List then List section is activated.
Function Selection Object: You can open the Function Selection object for the Date Functions. If you selects a formula from the Function Selection object, the color of the date will be grey.

If you select securities from more than one source, then date range is inherited from the source that is selected as Default Source in the Options window. |
