Getting Started > User Interface |
First we would like to introduce you to the EquityRT concepts. We call the screen displayed when you enter the system as Workspace. Workspace consists of various Forms such as charts, financial tables, data tables, news, etc.
You can conduct your analyses with the following ready-made workspaces in EquityRT: Equity, Index, Exchange, Peer, Screener, Technical Analysis, Macro, FX and Analysis.
You can also create the Custom Workspaces by just clicking the Application Menu located on the upper left corner of the screen: New > New Workspace steps or from the “Workspace” icon in the toolbar of your workspace.
There might be forms for the security follow up in one of your workspaces, foreign exchanges or indices in another, forms/charts with fixed-income securities in the third workspace.
Thanks to the Form Connections feature within the workspace, a faster and more efficient work environment is provided. Any change in the options you make for one of the windows within the chain automatically affects the other windows.
You can save as many of your favorite workspaces of connected forms as you'd like. You can move easily and quickly from one workspace to another or you can copy a form from a workspace to another.
You will meet the Designer windows when you open the forms. The Designer window helps you to design your tables, lists or reports by presenting available possibilities for each selection consecutively. After creating your table, you can also access to the Designer Window from the right click menu or by pressing F3.
Security Selection, Function Selection and Date Selection are the common objects which are used in most of the Designer windows. These objects are created for standard and quick usage.
