Financial institutions use foreign funds for local crediting activities. This item shows the difference between the cost of the funds and the yield on interest earning assets.

 

Calculation:

Spread = (Yield on Interest Earning Assets - Cost of Funds) / (1+ Cost of Funds)

 

 

Spread (excl. Cash & CB) (bps)

This item shows the difference between the cost of the funds and the yield on interest earning assets (excluding Cash and Central Bank) 

 

Calculation:

Spread (excl. Cash & CB) = (Yield on Interest Earning Assets (excl. Cash & CB) - Cost of Funds) / (1+ Cost of Funds)
