The Upside/Downside Ratio (UDRatio) displays the ratio of the upside volume to downside volume.
A value of 1 shows that there is a balance. High/Low values for long periods indicate overbought/oversold conditions.
This indicator is often smoothed by a moving average to show long term trends.
Calculation:
UPV = The total volume of the securities with a higher closing price of the previous closing price
DNV = The total volume of the securities with a lower closing price of the previous closing price
