EquityRT Help
Workspace

EquityRT lets you work with any number of workspaces at the same time. You can use as many windows as you like in a workspace. This means that you can trace your portfolio, financials, view a historic price graph and list stock news all on the same screen.

There might be forms for the security follow up in one of your workspaces, foreign exchanges or indices in another, forms/charts with fixed-income securities in the third workspace.

Thanks to the Form Connections feature within the workspace, a faster and more efficient work environment is provided. Any change in the options you make for one of the windows within the chain automatically affects the other windows.

Working with Several Workspaces

You can create multiple workspaces, which will be displayed as pages in the Workspace screen.

Whichever workspace you select from the list, will be activated.

EquityRT remembers the last layout you're working on and opens it automatically the next time you enter the system.

Working with the Custom Workspace

To open an empty workspace, you can select the “Workspace” icon from the tool bar or “New Workspace” from The Application Menu located on the upper left corner of the screen. New workspace (Page1) is automatically created at the first time.

You can create unlimited number of forms and save the changes you made in the workspace. All open forms, their design parameters, connections and positions in the workspace will be saved.

You can make a copy of your workspace by selecting “Save” or “Save As” button from the right click menu when clicking on your current page caption. You can also rename your workspace or delete your active workspace. Please be aware that a deleted layout cannot be restored.

You can use export your workspace to be able to share it with another EquityRT user. To export the workspace, you need to choose the forward looking arrow from the right click menu, click on next and type in the name of the file you would like to save your workspace as. You can also import the prepared workspaces by clicking the backwards looking arrow and choosing the file of the workspace you would like to import.
